Vendor Pavilion Information Sheet

 

The North Carolina Black Pages and BOPE  thanks you for participating in our most anticipated annual event, Black Expo 2008, held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the NC National Guard Armory in Goldsboro  NC.

 

The following are some important information facts to keep in mind as you  prepare for the event.

 

Move-in is Friday August 15, 2008 beginning at 5:00 pm and ending at 10:00 pm. Check-in at the back entry of the Armory. For directions and hotel information call 919-751-1999. 

Our official hotel is the Holidays Inn Express and Hampton Inn.

Make sure you tell the hotel you are with the Black EXPO, so you can get the special rates.

 
It is imperative that you check-in between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm. The loading dock doors will close promptly at 10:00 pm. Our goal is to have every exhibitor in the vendor pavilion, by 10:00 pm. The Armory and BOPE will  provide some carts. But to be safe, please bring your own.
All displays must be completed by 8:30 am on Satuaday. The venue doors will open promptly at 10:00 am. The event starts at 11 noon.

 
Exhibitors will receive location of exhibit space, exhibitor passes and parking pass at check-in. Exhibit space assignments will NOT be changed during move-in. 
Each 8' X 8' exhibit space will receive two (2) exhibitor passes and one (1) parking pass. If you ordered extra exhibitor passes, they will be available at check-in.

 

Once you load in your merchandise, you will be directed to park your vehicle across the street or in the rear of the Armory. This allow people attending plenty of parking spaces.

All parking is free.

 
Only four (4) people are permitted in one (1) 8' x 8' exhibit space. 
Exhibitors are  allowed to bring their Portable Exhibits.  Extra chairs are available. 

 
Electricity and telephone connection must be requested prior to event day.

Electricity is $25.00.

Computer/Telephone is $125.00.
The sale of merchandise bearing the BOPE  Expo name, logo or likeness is prohibited. Logo's and likeness are a registered trademark of BOPE, Incorporated.

Exhibitors are not permitted to sell food or drinks. There is a food vending area for  vistors and Exhibitors.

Exhibitors are not permitted to sell unlicensed materials.

 

The sale of audiotapes, videotapes and compact discs that are not licensed is prohibited.

Exhibitors are not permitted to display illicit merchandise, including sexual, drug related or profane materials.

No exhibit may interfere with other exhibits by way of objectionable sounds, noise, odor or obstructive activities.

 
Exhibitors are not permitted to market products or services outside of the exhibit space. 
Exhibitors are expected to keep the exhibit space clean and attractive at all times.
 

In order to provide a safe environment for the attendees of BOPE Black EXPO, exhibitors are NOT permitted to break down exhibit or move merchandise out of the venue until the event ends at approximately 7:00pm or until an authorized BOPE/BPTN representative gives permission to do so.

 

Security will stop you if you attempt to move prior to the end of the event. 
All exhibitor space applications/agreements are firm and non-refundable.

Due to the difficulty in forecasting buying habits of consumers, BOPE, North Carolina Black Pages, Carolina Business Pages, WFMC,  and the National Guard Armory  assume no responsibility regarding losses and/or profits of exhibitors' product and/or services at BOPE/BPTN EXPO.
